My Research

My research examines how marketing practices shape consumer well-being. From a substantive perspective, I focus on the deeply traditional and personal experience of food consumption alongside consumers’ perceptions of emerging technologies.

In a recent publication, my co-authors and I investigated the intersection of these two areas. Specifically, we examined how the ongoing introduction of novel technologies such as AI and robotics in food preparation can negatively impact consumers’ perceptions of food, and outlined actionable strategies for marketers to address this problem. Overall, my research provides key insights for policymakers, businesses, and marketers looking to implement responsible, consumer-centric strategies.
